Berkshire pigs are a heritage breed, coming from the English county of Berkshire. These pigs are distinctly black with “white spots”, predominantly on their legs, tails and snouts.

Berkshires have a friendly disposition and are easy to raise.
What sets them apart is flavour. Berkshire pork has remarkable marbling and overall juiciness and texture. They are often the choice for high-end restaurants around the world.
